Interactive light sculpture and photo project – part of the Compartment Open Market show at White Night
Visitors were invited to interact with a framework placed in an outdoor space using lights and various construction materials, creating spontaneous structures and shapes and making photographs of the results if they wished. With no sense that skill was required to participate, passers-by interacted freely and gradually transformed the work. The documentary photos chart the progression of the piece between 6pm and 2am.
